Matching resources to opportunities with our member churches.

Missions Team

This team exists to identify and steward resources specifically related to our member churches outreach ministries and missions endeavors. The team serves to connect these resources entrusted to the CBBA with our member churches. These resources, whether it’s financial in the form of scholarships, program training and services such as VBS/WMU, or servant-leader volunteers from our summer missionaries, are aimed to support the various outreach ministries and missions engagement for our member churches throughout the year.

Summer Missions Program

The CBBA has enjoyed a long partnership with the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Almost every summer since 1999, MBC has sent college student missionaries who commit to spending a summer with CBBA to serve with our member churches. As a team, these students spend seven to eight weeks supporting and ministering alongside our local churches in outreachs, camps, and retreats.

Vacation Bible School

VBS is a proven program for reaching children and their families with many of our association churches. The VBS leader encourages the use of the program, trains leaders in its use, and coordinates shared resources through the association.

Women’s Ministry and WMU

Women’s Ministry and the WMU has a strong heritage in local churches as a catalyst for missionary action, education and support. This association ministry group comes alongside local church ministries to strengthen their leaders, provide shared resources and organize association-wide events that promote the cause of mission efforts in and through local churches.

Who We Are
